Web Content Filter for Chrome Browsers
Web Content Filter is a Chrome browser extension that replicates the dansguardian score-based filter using JavaScript. This tool allows users to filter website content based on customizable rules directly within their browser. The extension utilizes keywords from e2guardian to scan web pages, increasing a score for each identified keyword. If the score surpasses a set threshold, the page is blocked. Users have the flexibility to adjust these rules to enhance productivity, such as blocking specific content like movies, anime, or gaming by keywords.
This updated version of the extension includes a transition to manifest 3, bug fixes, a language detector to block non-English and Russian sites, a dark theme for improved user experience, and the capability to export and import settings.
